A view of WCMC-Q's Clinical Skills Center (CSC), the first of its kind in the region. The CSC plays a key role in the medical program where students experience practical training in a clinical setting before they spend time in the real hospital environment at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) hospitals and clinics.

A "standardized patients program", where members of the public role play as patients, is part of the medical education that students undergo at WCMC-Q's Clinical Skills Center. Here a student interviews a "patient" in a practical session.

WCMC-Q has state of the art seminar rooms equipped with projection systems for video streaming and live sessions with the medical college in New York and Cornell University in Ithaca, New York State.

A panoramic view of one of the 4 lecture halls in WCMC-Q. All of varying sizes, each one is equipped with projection facilities and receive video streamed lectures from the United States. Live sessions with faculty and students in New York and Ithaca can also be conducted from the lecture halls.

There are over 70 information pods at strategic locations in WCMC-Q. These deliver WCMC-Q's Distributed e-Library - an all digital information resouce which can be accessed anywhere in the building from these locations, forming a virtual library "Without Walls".
