We are pleased to offer access to the referencing software 'Endnote' as well as the Writing Center, in the Reading Room.

EndNote is software that allows you to create a personalised database of references from records retrieved from databases. It is currently available on the Pods located in the Reading Room and selected seminar rooms throughout the building. Try our Endnote FAQs for quick answers to common questions and problems. A variety of citation styles can be applied to tour references. Utilizing filters, citations from saved database searches can be imported and managed.

Styles - EndNote comes preloaded with 500 styles if you require a style that is not listed in EndNote then try the EndNote Styles   site.

Filters - To successfully import records correctly from a saved database search directly into EndNote, the correct filter is required. Please consult our Filters page.

Through this service, DeLib Staff can provide support services for managing your citations. We will carefully work through each of the steps below to ensure that the end-product is a verified, well formatted and portable citation list.

To use this service, simply send your list of citations and let us know the service you want. If you would like us to format the citations please let us know your preferred style or publication.

Verification - Our staff will review your list of citations to make sure they are accurate.

Cited Reference Search - Find out who is citing your work or the work of others within your field of research.

Formatting - If you want to save citations for potential use in publishing an article, we will be happy to save these references and put them in the style of your choice.

Citation Management Instructions - If you prefer to handle your own citations, we will be happy to show you how to use EndNote to maintain a citation database and change the styles to suit your needs.
