Liaison librarians support all your teaching, research and professional information needs. Your liaison librarian will contact you at regular intervals to ensure your information needs are being met, and you can contact them at any time either by email or phone to request assistance.
Research and Information Requests
We offer a more in-depth level of research assistance than is available at most universities. Ask us to show you how the eLibrary empowers self-reliant searching and information management.
Staying Current
If there are some journals that you like to scan regularly, ask a librarian to help you set up alerts each time a new issue is published. The liaison librarians can also create current awareness alerts by topic from the wide variety of databases available through the eLibrary. Forthcoming conferences, grants, news and more specialized information such as the latest clinical trials can also be scanned. Alternatively, you might want to find out how to subscribe to RSS feeds. Find help by clicking Stay Current.
Course Support
The librarians are constantly available to provide help to students seeking information. Please encourage students to consult us whenever their query to you requires information or instruction on researching information. Course support pages are available on the eLibrary web page for selected Premedical and all Medical courses. They are regularly updated throughout the semester with course-related information support
tips on the best resources and library services and we invite your contributions.
