Cornell University has one of the most highly selective and competitive educational programs in the United States. Qualified applicants to the Pre-medical and Medical Programs will be selected by the same high standards and rigorous requirements of Cornell University.
Cornell seeks applicants who uphold the highest academic and personal standards. We attempt to identify the best-qualified applicants from diverse academic and personal backgrounds. In keeping with the principles of Cornell University, we seek students with outstanding academic accomplishments and entrance into the Pre-medical program will be determined by the same standards that apply to admission into the undergraduate program at Cornell.
The Committee on Admissions meets on a regular basis and discusses the applicants who have been interviewed. Decisions regarding acceptance are made by consensus of the Committee.
